I identify with so many things, specific and aural. And I remain grateful for my religious relatives who did loving things for us after my mother married a non-Amish man. We try so hard for rightness and righteousness. And I wished for dentists too. This piece is spot on for describing the anxiety-inducing innocence we strivers experience and intensify to show G-d how good we are. I thank our society for public school.
